Connect two virtual wires to control a real flashlight.
Inspired by the Lucellino Wall Lamp, I replaced the ordinary flashlight switch with two wires. A loose connection flickers; a seated connection stays lit. The deliberately imperfect contact is the interaction.
The native app controls the phone’s actual flashlight. Contact changes drive the torch and haptic feedback together, with lighter taps for intermittent contact and a firmer response when seated.
The Blender studies separate stripped wire ends, copper pads, contacts, and solder joints. Those details give the draggable ends a visible destination.
The friction is intentional, but it is not evidence of a good everyday flashlight. I would compare first-time reactions with repeated use and explore a reliable direct switch alongside the playful mode.
